Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our ABA therapy services, insurance coverage, and more.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientifically proven approach that uses positive reinforcement and evidence-based techniques to improve social, communication, and behavioral skills. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) design individualized treatment plans that break down complex skills into manageable steps, helping your child learn and grow at their own pace.

We serve children and adolescents ages 1 through 21. Early intervention is highly effective, so we encourage families to reach out as soon as they notice developmental concerns. However, ABA therapy can benefit individuals at any age within our service range.

While ABA therapy is most commonly associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we also serve children with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, communication disorders, social skills deficits, and behavioral and emotional challenges. A formal diagnosis is typically needed for insurance coverage, and we can help guide you through that process.

We accept several Medicaid plans including Sunshine Health, CMS, Simply Healthcare, and Florida KidCare, as well as commercial plans such as Aetna, Cigna, and Florida Blue. If you don't see your insurance listed, please contact us and we'll verify your benefits at no cost to you.

Parent training is a core component of our ABA program. We teach parents and caregivers the same evidence-based strategies our therapists use, so you can reinforce positive behaviors and support your child's progress at home and in the community. Consistency across environments is key to lasting behavioral change.

Our therapists work directly within your child's school environment, coordinating with teachers and staff to support academic and social success. School-based ABA helps your child generalize skills learned in therapy to real classroom situations, promoting independence and positive peer interactions throughout the school day.

We provide ABA therapy across multiple settings to fit your family's needs: in your home, at your child's school, and in community-based environments throughout Miami. This flexibility allows us to work with your child in the settings where they spend the most time, making skill development more natural and effective.

Getting started is simple. Fill out the contact form on our website or call us at (786) 732-0842. Our team will verify your insurance benefits, schedule a comprehensive assessment for your child, and develop a personalized treatment plan. We guide you through every step of the process from the very first call.

Our comprehensive assessment is conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and includes direct observation of your child, parent interviews, review of previous evaluations, and standardized skill assessments. This thorough evaluation helps us understand your child's unique strengths, challenges, and needs to create the most effective treatment plan.

The number of therapy hours is determined based on your child's individual needs as identified during the assessment. Our BCBA will recommend an appropriate number of weekly hours, which can range from a few hours to more intensive programs. We work with your family's schedule to find the best fit and adjust as your child makes progress.

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) work under the supervision of our BCBAs to deliver high-quality therapy. Regular supervision ensures that every session follows evidence-based practices and that your child's treatment plan is being implemented with fidelity and consistency.

Most insurance plans in Florida are required to cover ABA therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our team handles the insurance verification and authorization process for you at no cost. We will work directly with your insurance provider to maximize your benefits and minimize any out-of-pocket expenses for your family.
